'Once upon a very long time ago, when I borrowed my mum's pots and pans, with sticks in hand and a lot of awful bangs, I thought that one day I might,play drums in a real live band'.

Paul was born and bred in Coventry and at the age of 16 went into exile with Her Majesty's Forces, and in the early 80's became a high-ranking military drummer. It was eight years later that he discovered National Service had actually finished decades before and so returned to Coventry, where he can now be found sitting on the throne behind some talented musicians as a true Master of Puppets.
